EDENZ is able to offer students pathway training to degrees courses at EIT (Eastern Institute of Technology) near Napier, or here in our shared campus in Airedale St, or to one of the nearby universities. The EDENZ Foundation program pathways directly into our degree program offered on site by our partner, EIT (a government run, public polytechnic which has established its Auckland campus at EDENZ). Students may also pathway to Massey University, or into other universities in New Zealand or overseas.
Pathway to Degree and EIT – TheEastern Institute of Technology is a government polytechnic leasing floors in our building. EDENZ has an agreement which allows our students to cross credit their business diplomas into the EIT degree program, thereby enabling students to complete their degree in three years.
English Courses – EDENZ Colleges offers ESOL classes (General English & the new NZCEL Certificate) through our partnership with EIT. We cover all levels from Elementary to Advanced, as well as IELTS, TOEFL & TOEIC exam preparation for classes of 20, 25 and 30 hours per week. We also provide for Tour Groups, as well as students who want General English mixed with sightseeing activities, and under-18 students who wish to prepare for study in New Zealand High Schools. This last group of students can participate in our popular High School Preparation (HSP) programme.
Business Diplomas, Graduate Diplomas and Degrees in Business, Computing and Digital Media – provide a wide range of academic courses in many areas of business, management and computing from Level 5~7 and to degree level, Graduate and Post Graduate level. Students are allowed to work 20 hours part-time while studying. With the completion of an NZ Diploma in Business or a Graduate qualification, students may apply for a one-year Post Study visa to search for permanent jobs.
Trinity TESOL Teacher Training - EDENZ is the largest private tertiary college in NZ for Language teachers. Local and international trainees study together in the internationally-recognised Trinity Certificate (British Council Level 5), the yearlong Trinity Diploma (British Council Level 7), or the EDENZ TESOL Certificate (NZQA L4) and Diploma (NZQA L7) courses.
The New Zealand Film Academy (NZFA) produces film-makers.Our tutors (who are themselves active industry professionals with international awards from the CANNE Film Festival) teach the skills needed to enable graduates from the 16 week course to get work immediately. During courses of 8 or 16 weeks, they learn practical ‘hands-on’ filmmaking skills, essential for working in the fast-paced world of production houses.Contact
