NZ Laser Training Institute was established in 2011 after recognising the industry needed an independent, professional, and expert education provider for cosmetic Laser and IPL (Intense pulsed light).

Director, Ruth Nicholson is an NZQA qualified adult tutor with more than 18 years of relevant industry experience, including eleven years of developing and teaching Laser and IPL to beauty and medical aesthetics professionals - her goal is to ensure laser safety and laser science is well understood, and that best practice is upheld, protecting the public and ensuring operators of laser and IPL devices receive the best education and guidelines, coupled with expert support learners career success.
Ruth is joined by Stacey Spencer-King, senior clinical tutor (also qualified adult tutor, and UK health and safety qualified) - Stacey has well over 20 years of clinical experience operating lasers and has been teaching it since 2014, together known as the 'laser ladies', you will be in the best hands.
