Details
Get your class 2 heavy vehicle licence without having to wait 6 months from when you get your learner licence. This will allow you to drive a truck between 6000 - 18000kg or over 18000kg if it only has two axles (e.g. mining trucks).
You'll need a class 2 learner licence first.
There are some pre-study materials that we will supply to you then you attend a one-day session followed by 2-4 hours of practical training.
You will get two unit standards:
US:17574 (operate a class 2 rigid vehicle) and US:24089 (work time, fatigue and logbooks)
