This is a six hour refresher course for managers, licencees, clubs, covering the licence and their obligations, their role and how to manage and maintain a safe responsible environment for all. If you need an update on your responsibilities under
the Sale & Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, or just need a refresher before applying for your Manager’s Certificate, then this is the course for you. Authorisation of sale and supply and preventing intoxication and assessment of intoxication will be included as
will the non and low alcoholic beverages, techniques to up-sell those, getting the food selling to help minimise risk of intoxication and getting people home safe. Also included is authorisation of sale techniques for off licences and on licences as well as
clubs. The managers’ refresher course is run in conjunction with and on the same day as our Managing Licensed Premises courses. There is a pre-course project and workshop assessment to complete. A certificate of completion will be issued on achieving competency
in the assessment.
