Outline
- 24 hours of Intensive classes per week
- Classes include focus on speaking, listening, pronunciation
- Extra Curricular Activities (sports, Rainbows End, museums, picnics, horse riding, zoo, Laser Force, hot pools, Sheep World, Viaduct, Mt Eden, Underwater World, etc.)
- Friday/Weekend Trips (Rangitoto Island, Howick Historical Village, Rainbow’s End-New Zealand’s Premier Theme Park.)
- Experienced Teachers
- Open to students 10 years old and above
- Homestay with New Zealand families
- Prices include tuition, homestay, breakfast and dinner with family, transportation, books, health insurance, and trips. (Airfare is not included.)

Welcome to NSLS
Welcome to North Shore Language School (NSLS). We are a private academy specialising in English language training for second language speakers as well as specialising in the training of teachers (TESOL).
North Shore Language School opened in 2003. We are a well-known academy with an excellent reputation. We are NZQA approved and accredited and we have been given the highest rating of Highly Confident for educational performance. This was awarded to NSLS by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority in 2010 and again in 2014. This makes us a Category 1 school. This is an achievement that we are very proud of and we feel it reflects the professionalism of all staff and the high level of academic achievement that our students attain. We also pride ourselves on providing a warm, friendly, family-like atmosphere in which all students can happily learn.
Our English language classes cater for students from Beginner level right up to our NZCEL and IELTS classes in which more advanced students can train in English and exam techniques. The classes are small (a maximum of 12 students) and this enables the tutors to give individual attention.
