The Samala Robinson Academy (SRA) is New Zealand’s leading fashion makeup school.
Our vision is to take the mystery out of makeup, and produce confident and exceptional artists who are capable of creating beauty at a professional and international level.
We are dedicated to the finest standards in training, creativity and self-expression and have taught some of the country’s top makeup artists. Our comprehensive courses give students the best possible skills training for careers in fashion, cosmetic companies, film, stage and television.
Our students learn from talented experts, with a curriculum carefully designed to help students uncover and confidently express their creativity. While the academy has grown offering more classes every year, our class sizes remain small so that our philosophy can stay true.
SRA was established in 2000 by leading New Zealand makeup artist Samala Robinson, who has over 25 years of experience in fashion, film and television.
