The certificate of Government Security is designed to enhance security practitioners knowledge, insight and skills required to develop, implement and manage protective security within the public sector.
The competencies achieved through this module will enable security practitioners to ascertain if their security measures are appropriate, identify where improvements are needed and help them begin planning for the future security needs of their organisation.
The focus of this module is to introduce the security practitioner to the Protective Security Requirements (PSR) and the application of such into their working environment, what is entailed and how this can be applied in real world settings.
